Galjoen Trading develops offshore coverall

drilling rigAgain Galjoen Trading in Den Helder (NL) is introducing a novelty. It concerns a recently developed offshore coverall. According to Arie Hiddingh, owner of Galjoen Trading, this is one of the first offshore coveralls on the market, which is antistatic and can be used as welder’s protective clothing (class 1). Moreover the coverall meets the EN ISO standard for (industrial) heat hazard.

 

CE certified

The offshore coverall can be use on drilling rigs, in the petro chemical industry and in the oil & gas industry. The coverall, provisionally deliverable in the colours orange, navy blue and royal blue, have been made from a flame retardant 290 grams fabric and provided with flame retardant retro reflective tape in the so-called offshore configuration. The product was recently certified by TNO Certification under no. C10-27014. It meets the standards EN 340:2003, EN ISO 11611:2007 A1-A2, EN ISO 11612:2008 A1-A2-B1-C1-E1 and 1149-5: 2008.
